4/1/2014 ASC Advisory Committee Meeting to be held on April 16-17, 2014
The ASC Advisory Committee for the Development of Regulations will hold its first Meeting on April 16-17, 2014 in Washington, DC. The Meeting will be held at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency located at 400 7th Street SW. On Wednesday, April 16, the Meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, April 17, the Meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. All times are in the Eastern time zone. 2/14/2014 ASC Rules of Operation - Revised
On February 12th, the ASC approved revisions to Section 3.06(e) of the ASC Rules of Operation to denote that ASC Meetings will be held at least once every two months (bi-monthly) rather than monthly. This change is effective immediately. The revised ASC Rules of Operation can be found here
6/6/2013 ASC Revised Policy Statements
The ASC announced on May 28th its adoption of revised Policy Statements,Requirements and Guidance to State Appraisal Regulatory Programs for Compliance with Title XI. 3/15/2013 Appraisal Complaint National Hotline Operational
The Appraisal Complaint National Hotline (Hotline) began operation on March 15, 2013. The Hotline is required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The Hotline refers complainants to appropriate State and/or Federal agencies to handle complaints of alleged violations of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and/or appraisal independence requirements.
