The following Bulletins were issued on November 21, 2017 by the Appraisal Subcommittee of the FFIEC:
1. Bulletin 2017-01, National Registry of Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs); and
2. Bulletin 2017-02, Extension of Implementation Period for State Registration and Supervision of AMCs.
The ASC has revised the opening date for opening the National Registry of AMCs (AMC Registry). The ASC now plans to open the AMC Registry to States on July 16, 2018.
The previous target date was June 4, 2018. The ASC is issuing revised Bulletin 2017-01. The only change to the Bulletin is the open date for the AMC Registry. The Bulletin can be viewed here.
The ASC has posted a chart showing States’ status on implementation of their AMC Programs.
